Beyond the Stadium, Soccer Changes Lives.

A Legacy Partner of World Cup Host Committees

The World Cup isn’t just about what happens in the stadium. It’s about what #SoccerDoes.

It strengthens communities. It’s a stress reliever and a bridge between generations. The matches end at the whistle.

The impact doesn’t.

  • “Partnering with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, which is itself a legacy of the 1994 FIFA World Cup, allows us to nurture the growth of the world’s most popular sport and foster the next generation of athletes right here in Pennsylvania. Further, this partnership and ultimately, the 26 projects that will be funded, will allow us to be responsive to the needs of our soccer community, which are varied state-wide.”

  • “We’re extremely proud to team up with the U.S. Soccer Foundation and our matching fund partners on this mini-pitch initiative that will continue to build upon the legacy of the FIFA World Cup™ in our local communities and neighborhoods. Sport, and soccer in particular, has the power to unite, energize and create a passionate following that we want to harness for positive change. The mini-pitch project is the start of a holistic program to leave a positive impact for our region leading up to 2026 and beyond.”

  • “Joining together with the U.S. Soccer Foundation is an amazing opportunity to kick off our legacy work as Host City that will ensure the game continues to improve the lives of this region’s young people. As New York and New Jersey prepare to welcome fans and players from around the globe to the world’s largest sporting event, we are ecstatic that, in tandem, we are also fostering the love of the game for youth in our own community.”

Boston 26 Collaboration: Building More Places to Play

Jul 30 2025

The U.S. Soccer Foundation is partnering with Boston 26, the Boston Host City organizing committee for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, to bring 20 new mini-pitches to communities across New England.

A large group of high school-aged youth, coaches, and partners gather on a soccer field in front of a tall apartment building and a digital scoreboard during the announcement of the Boston Host Committee and U.S. Soccer Foundation partnership. Everyone is smiling and posing together, some holding neon green shirts, with a soccer ball placed at the center of the group. The event takes place on a sunny day with a partly cloudy sky.
