There are two new places to play in Philadelphia, and they were unveiled with unforgettable celebrations. Last week, we joined Philadelphia Soccer 2026 and partners at Building 21 and Swenson Arts & Technology High School to open two brand-new mini-pitches.

At Swenson Arts & Technology High School, students were surprised with the new mini-pitch. We joined Philadelphia Soccer 2026, IBX, Philadelphia Public Schools to celebrate with Swenson students. The day included Philadelphia Union player meet and greets, the team mascot Phang, and student-led coverage of the event.

Another celebration took place the next day at Building 21, where we came together with Philadelphia Soccer 2026, Comcast, and members of the community to open their new mini-pitch. These pitches are part of our larger partnership with Philadelphia Soccer 2026 to make sure more Philly kids have access to soccer and safe places to play.
