First there were 10…now there are 20! A community celebration honored the creation of 20 new mini-pitches at schools across the nation’s capital through the D.C. Soccer Initiative.
The 10th iteration of the event created quite the spectacle – from the spirited embassy tournament (congrats, Chile!) to the nail-biting Staffer vs Lobbyist match (ending in a penalty shoot-out) to the main event filled with a healthy dose of banter from the sideline and razzle dazzle out on the pitch.
