That’s what you get when you provide a safe place to play and a local league designed to let youth and teens set the tone.

We saw this come to life with the opening of the first of 50 mini-pitches and launch of the Just Ball League at Centro Mater in the heart of Miami as part of the Miami-Dade Soccer Initiative.

Messi might have set off a football frenzy across the county. But soccer’s here to stay.
