The U.S. Soccer Foundation believes that every child deserves the opportunity to play the beautiful game while learning life skills from trained coach-mentors.
DO YOU BELIEVE EVERY CHILD IN AMERICA
SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO THE GAME?
While we’ve made steady progress, we need your help to achieve our goals. Join us to help create a future where all children from all communities have access to the game and a safe place to play – no matter where they live.
Children living in underserved communities often lack access to affordable sporting opportunities, adequate play spaces and guidance from mentors and role models. We want to change that.
WHERE WE ARE AND WHERE WE ARE GOING.

A child’s learning and growth doesn’t stop when the school day is over. By filling the after-school hours with quality soccer programming led by trained coach-mentors and providing safe places for children to play in their neighborhoods, we can give millions of children who are eager to learn and play a place to go and a chance to grow.
"My favorite thing to do is to go outside and learn new things about soccer. The program taught me how to eat healthier and exercise more."
“I think we can all agree that we want to continue to grow the soccer culture here in the U.S., and this mini-field endeavor is a tangible way to do so. More fields mean more opportunities to share in this incredible game.”
“Soccer gives you a sense of happiness. It kind of gets you away from the problems, from anything that can be going on in your life that is bad…If you are able to see it that way, then it can have a big impact in your life.”
“Soccer, like other team sports, teaches young people how to work together, and lays a strong foundation for good health and friendships among our youngest New Yorkers.”
