Together, we can give millions of kids from underserved communities safe places to grow, thrive and build confidence for life.
Detroit’s northeast side is now home to a new mini-pitch thanks to a partnership with Allstate and USMNT captain Tyler Adams. During the opening event at Fisher Magnet Upper Academy, the site of the new pitch, Tyler hopped in for clinics led by Black Star Soccer.
“I think it was super important for me to find people to collaborate with that had the same passion and insight into what I wanted to do,” Tyler said at the event. “When I found out about the U.S. Soccer Foundation and their interest in growing the game through mini-pitches, that was something that I wanted to do: give kids access to playing soccer around the country.”
