Lighting Up Las Vegas

Just 20 minutes away, the City of Lights is alive with excitement as people of all backgrounds explore all that Las Vegas has to offer. And a bit north, at Sandstone Ridge Park, another type of excitement is shining bright.

The park is now home to a set of twin mini-pitches, the latest project on which we’ve partnered with Tim Howard, the Tim Howard Foundation, and the City of Las Vegas to increase access to soccer for kids in under-resourced communities – where kids will now take the stage, channel their creativity, and hone their talents, just like their counterparts down the road.

But, as with most Las Vegas shows, there’s an encore! This project also marks the 700th mini-pitch we’ve installed nationwide. That’s 700 more places for kids to have fun and for communities to gather. And brings us that much closer to our goal of installing 1,000 mini-pitches in the U.S. by 2026.
