We’ve teamed up with LALIGA North America to bring the benefits of soccer to even more communities across the United States. With FIFA World Cup 26™ just around the corner, LALIGA will help us further our mission to provide access to safe places to play and engage more youth in under-resourced communities in soccer—something we’ve been doing for more than 30 years.
“We’re on a mission to provide more than 1 million children each year in under-resourced communities with access to the many benefits of our game and to install 1,000 mini-pitches in the communities where they live and go to school,” said Ed Foster-Simeon, President & CEO of the U.S. Soccer Foundation.
Through this partnership, LALIGA North America will support the Foundation’s fundraising efforts at El Partidazo fan-focused events throughout the 2025/26 LALIGA season and serve as a sponsor for the Spring 2026 Unity Cup, a celebration that brings communities together through soccer.
“Soccer isn’t just a sport—it’s a platform and a tool to create opportunity and enact positive change,” said Boris Gartner, LALIGA North America Chairman and Relevent President & Partner. “Partnering with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, who are spearheading life-changing initiatives across the country, shows the long-term investment LALIGA has made in making the game more accessible to millions of Americans.”
We’re excited about the work ahead and the opportunity to create more safe places to play, connect kids with trusted mentors, and give them the skills they need to thrive.
