Continuing the Legacy in NY and NJ

Just Ball on the big screen in Times Square during the New York / New Jersey FIFA World Cup 2026 logo unveiling

Just Ballers made it on the big screen in Times Square!

We joined the NY/NJ Host Committee, NYC Mayor Eric Adams, NJ Governor Phil Murphy, Michael Strahan and members of Gotham FC, RBNY and NYCFC to unveil the New York / New Jersey FIFA World Cup 2026 logo.

During the logo reveal, our very own Just Ball League was featured on the big screens in Times Square–the same screen you watch the ball drop on New Years Eve!

As part of the major unveiling, the New York/New Jersey Host Committee named the U.S. Soccer Foundation as its Legacy Strategy Partner.

What does this mean? Together with the committee and other partners across the region, we’ll help design and implement programs that use soccer to achieve positive outcomes for youth living in underserved communities.

We plan to:

  • Create 26 new safe places to play by installing mini-pitches in under-resourced communities across New York and New Jersey
  • Engage at least 25,000 youth from under-resourced communities in soccer programs that build physical, social, and emotional well-being skills
  • Train at least 1,000 coaches as mentors in youth-serving organizations across the New York and New Jersey region
  • “Joining together with the U.S. Soccer Foundation is an amazing opportunity to kick off our legacy work as Host City that will ensure the game continues to improve the lives of this region’s young people."
