A little soccer can make a big difference in kids' futures. With only a few dollars, you can be the difference maker in millions of kids' lives.
Home to soccer legends John Harkes, Tab Ramos, and Tony Meola (and where Tim Howard also once lived), Kearny is a hotbed of soccer culture and fandom.
Students at Washington Elementary School (John Harkes’ alma mater in fact) not only got to play on their new mini-pitch at the opening, but participated in a soccer clinic with Premier League coaches and Newcastle and Brighton & Hove Albion players.
NJ Gov. Phil Murphy, Tim Howard, and the NY/NJ Host Committee also participated in the festivities alongside the Kearny Mayor and Superintendent.
