The U.S. Soccer Foundation today announced a new initiative, United for Girls, aimed at increasing opportunities for young girls and women from underserved communities to play soccer and reap its many benefits.

Since the launch of the mini-pitch initiative in 2015, the U.S. Soccer Foundation has installed more than 160 Safe Places to Play in underserved communities across the United States.
