Just over thirty years ago, a movement was born. From the belief in the power of soccer to uplift communities, the U.S. Soccer Foundation was created.
Today, alongside our partners, we serve one million children each year in under-resourced communities across the country. We create safe spaces to play, empower coach-mentors, and build stronger futures. That’s what Soccer Does.
And that’s what Soccer Will do for 10 million more youth by 2030.
As the U.S. prepares to host the largest World Cup in history, millions of kids are still being left on the sidelines. Many lack access to sports, safe places to play, trusted coach-mentors, and opportunities to build healthy habits. Soccer Will is our commitment to change that by scaling proven programs and meeting the needs of communities nationwide.
The Soccer Will campaign includes:
We’re expanding access to mini-pitches in high-stress, low-income communities and turning them into spaces where kids and families can stay active and connect with resources to strengthen overall well-being.
By growing the number of trained coach-mentors, we’re connecting more kids with caring adults who help them build confidence and a sense of belonging on and off the pitch.
Through expanded digital tools for soccer-loving parents, caregivers, and educators, we’ll help support healthy habits and learning beyond the pitch.
As we mark three decades of impact, we are committing to a bold vision for the future. Through partnerships and local support, we will expand access and grow proven programs in communities across the country.
The future of the game starts here. Join us in shaping what Soccer Will make possible.
