Goals, Unity, and Stars at the 2025 Congressional Soccer Match

What a night! The 2025 Congressional Soccer Match, presented by the Soccer Forward Foundation, kicked off at Audi Field with all the energy, laughs, and epic moves you could ask for. Soccer for Success participants stole the spotlight during the World Cup-themed Youth Showcase, followed by a no-holds-barred Staffer vs. Lobbyist match and a lightning-fast Capitol Skills Challenge.

Then came the main event, the Congressional Soccer Match, where Members of Congress joined forces with soccer legends like Heather O’Reilly, Tab Ramos, and John Harkes for a friendly 7v7 showdown. Final score? Democrats squeaked out a 6–4 victory, but really, everyone left feeling like champs.

We all came together to celebrate community, fun, and the power of soccer to make a difference. Can’t wait to do it all again in 2026.
