Just days after announcing her retirement from an illustrious 15-year career, including two World Cup titles in 2015 and 2019, an Olympic gold medal in 2012, an NWSL title, and 123 international goals, Alex Morgan added to her legacy by celebrating the grand opening of a new mini-pitch system at the Mission Valley YMCA. We collaborated with the Alex Morgan Foundation and YMCA of San Diego County to build this state-of-the-art facility designed to increase access to sports for young girls and boys in San Diego.
This mini-pitch is more than just a place to play soccer, It’s about creating opportunities for kids to get active, build confidence, and develop life skills. I’m thrilled to see this project come to life and can’t wait to see the positive impact it will have on the community.
