Associate I, Programs (West)
Passionate about positively impacting and connecting communities through the power of sport, Bella is committed to making soccer more accessible for all. She joined the U.S. Soccer Foundation in October 2025 as Associate I, Programs (West).
Before joining the Foundation, Bella received her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Communication and Sport Management from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. During her time at Trinity, Bella was a member of the women’s soccer team all four years, studied abroad through the Sport in England program, and received the Outstanding Senior in Sport Management Award. Through a connection made by her professor and mentor for her Intro to Sport Philanthropy class, she completed two internships with San Antonio Sports. Inspired by this experience and the work done by the U.S. Soccer Foundation, she wrote her Senior Honors Thesis on how MLS Foundations communicate the Safe Places to Play mini-pitch initiative.
Shortly after graduating from Trinity, Bella went on to receive a Master of Science in Sport Management, with a specialization in Sport-Based Youth Development, from Adelphi University in New York. During her studies, she was recognized with the Excellence in Sport-Based Youth Development Award and completed a fellowship with Kids in the Game. Through her fellowship, she coached K-5th graders while also serving as an Early Childhood Specialist and Assistant Director for two summer camp seasons. She collaborated with the Senior Program Director to research funding opportunities, analyze vendor success, and manage upcoming partner and school-year contracts.
Bella was also one of 12 delegates selected by the U.S. Department of State and Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs/Sport Diplomacy to participate in their Youth Leadership through Sport delegation in Skopje, North Macedonia.
Now based back home in Texas, Bella enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing soccer, and listening to music!
