Scott LaGrand

Vice President, Development

Scott LaGrand currently serves as the Vice President of Development. He joined the Foundation in April of 2022 as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Partnerships. He brings more than 20 years of nonprofit fundraising and leadership experience with a focus on health and wellness. Scott comes to the Foundation having served as the Chief Development Officer at Power to Decide which focuses on improving contraceptive access in underserved communities. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Development and Communications at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation and the Director of Development at the Clinton Health Matters Initiative with both roles under the Clinton Foundation umbrella. Scott started his nonprofit career at the American Heart Association having held multiple roles over a nine-year span.

Prior to embarking on his nonprofit journey, Scott was a professional hockey player, spending nine years playing for various teams after being drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 4th round of the 1988 Entry Draft. He was an All-American hockey player at Boston College where he led his team to the 1989 Final Four and earned his degree in English. Scott’s pride and joy are his two adult daughters, Oliva who is 26 and Chloe, 23.
