Associate I, Programs (East)
Sarah joined the U.S. Soccer Foundation in November 2025 as Associate I, Programs (East). In this role, she supports the Foundation’s mission to promote health equity and youth wellness through sports-based community development, with a focus on cultivating strong local partnerships and implementing inclusive programming in the East Region.
Before joining the Foundation, Sarah served as a Youth, Family, and Community Development Project Assistant at the American Institutes for Research, where she provided technical assistance and strategic support for initiatives related to public health, school climate, and child welfare. Her work included managing the National Center on Safe and Supportive Learning Environments Helpdesk, contributing to federal reports, and authoring the Healthy Students Learn Better Practice Guide series. She also played a key role in developing training materials for Los Angeles County’s Community Cultural Broker Program.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Education in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health.
