As the founder and CEO of LJF Consulting, Lissa has redefined consulting with a mission to deliver high-impact solutions across sectors that include business development, technology, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and investment advisory. Her clients—spanning real estate, hospitality, sports, and education—have relied on her unparalleled expertise to overcome complex challenges and drive sustainable growth. Currently, Lissa also serves as Chief Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Culture Officer at Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, P.C., where she also practices real estate law, providing expert transactional services across all facets of commercial and residential real estate development. She is at the forefront of integrating sustainability into the built environment, leveraging her deep knowledge to accelerate decarbonization, water conservation, and resilient infrastructure development.
Prior to Javerbaum Wurgaft, Lissa served in influential roles such as Vice President of Financial Crimes Advisory at Barclays Bank and held global leadership responsibilities at American Express. Throughout her career, she has been renowned for her strategic acumen, her ability to dissect complex systems, and her talent for building alliances that align with clients’ business objectives, brand values, and philanthropic missions.
Lissa’s commitment to community and equality is evident in her leadership roles with numerous organizations. She serves as Chair of the UNCF New Jersey Leadership Council and as Executive Chair of the Women’s Leadership Program at Seton Hall University’s Buccino Institute. Her past board memberships include The Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, Boys & Girls Club of Newark, and the Garden State Bar Association, and she has also served on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Municipal Practice. An advocate for justice and opportunity, she champions initiatives that support the underserved, advance education for girls and women, and combat chronic illnesses such as cancer.
