A lifelong believer in the transformative power of sports, Eren first joined the U.S. Soccer Foundation in January 2018 as a Program Coordinator supporting impactful Soccer for Success partners across the country. In May 2021, Eren joined Boys & Girls Clubs of America as Director of Quality Assurance Strategy to help lead the external safety assessment pilot across the country and worked with hundreds of local Clubs across the Movement committed to prioritizing safety. In June 2022, Eren returned to the U.S. Soccer Foundation as Operations & Legal Senior Manager.
Prior to 2018, Eren worked domestically for Major League Soccer and the New England Revolution and internationally for Grassroot Soccer in Malawi, South Africa, and Haiti. He holds an MA from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA from Bowdoin College. Eren graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2016, where he served as Editor for the Sports & Entertainment Law Society and gained legal experience working for a local DC-based immigration firm representing clients applying for citizenship.
