Elena Bagnoli

Elena joined the U.S. Soccer Foundation as a Safe Places to Play Associate in September 2025. Before joining the Foundation, Elena was an account coordinator at For Soccer (previously For Soccer Ventures and Gilt-Edge Soccer Marketing), for just under three years. While there, she worked with a variety of clients, managing communications and helping to execute various campaigns for national soccer events and sponsorships. She also supported grassroots and branded events across the US in an operational capacity and has contributed editorial content for newsletters and blogs.

Elena graduated from the University of Richmond in 2022 with a major in Psychology and a minor in healthcare. During her time at UR, she played and served as a player-coach for the women’s club soccer team, along with serving as the President on the Sports Club Executive Council. Elena is from and currently resides in Washington, DC, and is a loud, lifelong fan of the Washington Spirit and Manchester City.
