Darren Hamilton

A native of Newcastle, England, Darren brings a lifelong passion for soccer and community impact to his role at the U.S. Soccer Foundation. Before joining the Foundation, Darren worked with Think Together, the largest expanded learning provider in California, where he advanced educational equity by cultivating corporate partnerships and engaging major donors to support youth programs across the state.

Darren played Division I soccer at the University of California, Irvine, and later co-founded a coaching company, creating opportunities for young athletes to develop both on and off the field. He has also previously volunteered with OC GRIP, Soccer for Hope, and Missouri Special Olympics, organizations dedicated to empowering youth and promoting inclusion through sport.

Darren now channels his experience in development, relationship building, and his love for the game to help ensure all young people have access to safe places to play, positive mentors, and the transformative power of soccer.
