Led by trained coach-mentors, Soccer for Success teaches soccer basics alongside critical social, emotional, and life skills. And the program provides children a fun and safe environment in which they can thrive.
Independent studies show that our after-school program improves health outcomes and leads to improved social and emotional well-being.

The Nutrition Curriculum incorporates physical activity, health & wellness, community engagement, mentorship, and safe spaces to use soccer to help youth achieve their full potential.
The Social Emotional Learning Curriculum teaches social and emotional competencies such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.

Potential partners should be a 501c3 or municipality (exceptions exist). Proper insurance is required and all coach-mentors must complete a background check. An important prerequisite is that all partners use Soccer for Success to build healthy communities.
No, but the Foundation takes great pride in training your staff as coach-mentors to run the program.
To ensure sustainability of the program, it is important that the community contributes to the initiative. While some organizations may fall into funding streams supported by the U.S. Soccer Foundation, local partnering organizations support the majority of program costs.
It usually takes 3-6 months to prepare for the season’s kick-off. However, we can work with you to develop a quicker timeline on a case-by-case basis.
The Foundation has several great vendors for equipment and uniforms who provide low-cost options. The cost is worked into the overall cost of the program.
