Cindy Parlow Cone is the Director of Coaching for North Carolina FC, a youth soccer club. Cindy also works as the Director of International Outreach for Goals for Girls, a non-profit organization that connects girls from different countries with their peers around the world to address social and health challenges through soccer. She is currently the President of the United States Soccer Federation. Previously, Cindy was a 9-year member of the USA Women’s National Soccer Team, winning 2 Olympic Gold medals (’96, ’04), an Olympic silver medal (’00), and a Women’s World Cup Championship (’99). She has coached at the collegiate level, winning 4 national championships in 7 years (’06, ’08, ’09, ’12). At the professional level, Cindy is the youngest coach to ever win an American professional sports championship (in any sport) as the Portland Thorns head coach in 2013. Cindy received her B.A. from University of North Carolina.
