A little soccer can make a big difference in kids' futures. With only a few dollars, you can be the difference maker in millions of kids' lives.
The U.S. Soccer Foundation opened a new mini-pitch facility in Yeadon, Pennsylvania, with soccer star Tyler Adams leading the celebration. The weekend event brought together local families and youth soccer players for an official unveiling that aims to transform recreational opportunities in the community.
Adams, captain of the U.S. Men’s National Team, conducted an interactive soccer clinic for young participants. Local youth had the unique opportunity to train with one of America’s premier soccer talents, learning skills and techniques directly from a World Cup veteran. This marks Adams’ fourth mini-pitch opening with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, highlighting his continued dedication to expanding youth soccer access across America.
This Yeadon facility represents the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s ongoing mission to break down barriers to soccer participation. The mini-pitch program has already created hundreds of safe play spaces nationwide, with each facility serving thousands of young players annually.
The project was made possible through strategic partnerships with Allstate, Black Star, and the SWAG. These community-focused organizations share the Foundation’s commitment to youth development and neighborhood investment, helping create lasting positive change through soccer.
The Yeadon mini-pitch joins a growing network of facilities designed to give every child the chance to play, learn, and grow through soccer, regardless of background or economic circumstances.
