Kids play on the new LEGO mini-pitch in Albuquerque, NM
Let soccer do what soccer does.

Together, we can give millions of kids from underserved communities safe places to grow, thrive and build confidence for life.

Welcome to Hollywood

about 45 adult and children smile at the camera with hands in the air. the kids are wearing white shirts. a few adults in the crowd wear their Hollywood PD uniform.

Palm trees, surf, sun, and sand— sounds like the star-studded Hollywood, California, right? But trade in the rolling hills, capital of the U.S. film industry, and the Walk of Fame for a different coast and we welcome you to Hollywood, Florida! This suburb of Miami recently welcomed a new mini-pitch, installed and unveiled at the Hollywood Police Athletic League.

Why is this important?

Thanks to the generous contributions of Genesis Gives and the MLS Players Association, the mini-pitch will offer local youth with a dedicated space to play soccer through Hollywood PAL’s free programs. And perhaps also bring some Hollywood-style notoriety to the pitch.

During the grand opening event, youth and coaches participated in a ceremonial first kick and played in an inaugural scrimmage led by Hollywood PAL coaches.

Where are we going?

This mini-pitch adds to the growing number of safe places to play in the Miami area and brings us one step closer to our goal of installing 1,000 mini-pitches in under-resourced communities by 2026!

  • Enhancing youth performance through sports is a pillar of our corporate social responsibility initiative, Genesis Gives, and an extension of the brand’s commitment to the highest standards of performance and athletic elegance. We are proud to be part of bringing this mini-pitch to Hollywood, Florida and look forward to the meaningful impact it will have on youth in the community.

  • We are thrilled to unveil this new mini-pitch system, a space where our community can come together to foster teamwork, physical fitness, and positive connections. This is more than just a field—it's an investment in our youth, promoting healthy lifestyles and providing a safe place where our youth can develop both on and off the field.
