Newark Soccer Initiative

In May 2018, we joined the New York Red Bulls and Newark Public Schools to unveil a new initiative aimed at dramatically increasing access to safe places to play and evidence-based soccer programming at Newark Public Schools. Over five years, we will create 20 mini-pitches and engage more than 2,500 Newark students in Soccer for Success with New York Red Bulls, Newark Public Schools, and Wells Fargo.

Newark is the third municipality nationwide to make a major commitment to creating safe places to play and expanding sports-based youth development programs for its youth.
