The Milwaukee Urban Soccer Collaborative hosted their annual Jamboree on June 4, bringing together eighteen soccer teams from area schools and community centers. The teams came from Riley, Hayes, Windlake Milwaukee Public Schools, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Journey House, and COA Youth and Family Centers.

U.S. Soccer Foundation Names Ed Foster-Simeon President

The U.S. Soccer Foundation, the Major Charitable Arm of Soccer in the United States, today announced that the Foundation’s Board of Directors has elected Ed Foster-Simeon to serve as president of the Foundation, effective June 16, 2008. Foster-Simeon succeeds John Koskinen, who has held the position since April, 2004.

At age 13, Matthew is an eighth grader at Westland Middle School in Bethesda, MD and an active soccer player.
