Associate I, Soccer for Success
Cassidy joined the U.S. Soccer Foundation in January 2023 as a Soccer for Success Program Associate. Cassidy’s background includes time spent working as a software engineer and interning with the National Women’s Soccer League, Sky Blue FC (now NJ/NY Gotham FC), The Bail Project, and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. Cassidy also previously coached girls soccer at South Bronx United, and spent several years volunteering with the New Jersey YMCA Civic Engagement programs.
Cassidy graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies. At Columbia, Cassidy founded and coached the women’s club soccer team and conducted research at the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France. She is a lifelong believer in the power of The Beautiful Game and is passionate about pursuing issues at the intersection of gender and race, regulation and policy, and international soccer through research.
