National and regional organizations including the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Share Our Strength and Big Cork Vineyards will be working with the agency to enhance their various communications and branding needs such as media relations, event management and social and digital media marketing.

The U.S. Soccer Foundation, the major charitable arm of soccer in the United States, is a recognized leader in sports-based youth development programs for children in underserved, urban communities. Since its founding in 1994, the organization has provided more than $60 million in funding to create and sustain innovative programs across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Maroon PR will handle the media relations for the U.S. Soccer Foundation, focusing on national and market-to-market media outreach to support its various campaigns and events.
Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign aims to end childhood hunger in this nation by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. The No Kid Hungry campaign connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. The campaign also engages the public to make ending childhood hunger a national priority. Maroon PR will be managing media relations efforts for the campaign in the state of Maryland to garner awareness for Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign,.
Nestled on 100 rolling acres in Maryland’s Pleasant Valley, Big Cork Vineyards is one of the largest vineyards in Western Maryland. To date, Big Cork has won six awards from the Maryland Governor’s Cup Competition and five Maryland Wine masters Choice Awards, including Best in Class Acknowledgement. Big Cork recently earned GOLD for its 2012 Vidal and Traminette and SILVER for its Chardonnay and Late Harvest Vidal, at the International Eastern Wine Competition / East Meets West Challenge. The vineyard is constructing a 4,000 sq. ft. sunlit tasting room and farm winery production facility where visitors can sample and savor a host of varietals, as well as enjoy pairing workshops, live entertainment and winemaking demonstrations. Maroon PR will assist with event support, media relations and developing the social media platforms for Big Cork Vineyards.
