In celebration of Eunice Kennedy Shriver Day on Saturday, September 25, 2010, the U.S. Soccer Foundation will honor the Special Olympics founder with a field dedication at Friendship Southeast Academy Charter School – Mini-Pitch Soccer Field in Washington, D.C. The field dedication will also include a soccer clinic for 40 youth players and a Unified Game featuring Special Olympics athletes and coaches from united Soccer Club to play and enjoy a day of soccer. On hand for the event will be DC United midfielder, Brandon Barklage.
