About the Claudio Reyna Foundation
Based in New York and New Jersey, The Claudio Reyna Foundation’s focus is to INSPIRE underserved youth in urban communities with positive experiences through soccer, education and community involvement in hopes of growing healthy bodies, minds and spirits. We use soccer as a tool to help break the cycle of poverty and to fight against childhood obesity. Our programs have become an alternative to gangs and drugs, and give kids the opportunity to work with positive role models that care about their health and education.
About Soccer Shots
Founded in 2000 by former collegiate and professional soccer players, Soccer Shots provides a high-energy program using fun but principled instruction to teach soccer skills and character development to children 2 to 8 years old. In 2012, Entrepreneur magazine listed it as the top Children’s Fitness Franchise and 218 overall in the Franchise 500. Currently there are more than 100 franchised and company-run Soccer Shots outlets in more than 30 states teaching 50,000 children the joys of the game annually.
