Ellie joined the Foundation in November 2017 as Development Fellow and began her current role in June 2018. Previously, she worked at the U.S. Department of State in the Sports Diplomacy division, where she reviewed grant applications for the Sports Envoy and Sports Visitor programs, wrote communications for use by U.S. embassies in relation to Sports Diplomacy exchanges, provided support for the Global Sports Mentoring Program, and helped craft budgets for Sports Envoy exchanges. She previously interned at the National Museum of American History, the National Women’s History Museum, Evanston/Skokie School District 65, and for Congressman Chris Van Hollen.
Ellie graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on women and gender and a minor in Religious Studies. She is a D.C. area native.
