IN THE KNOW: OCTOBER 2015
Check out news and updates from the U.S. Soccer Foundation!
Our October All-Star is Natasha! Natasha is a Soccer for Success participant who has learned valuable life lessons through soccer, and thus has grown as both a player and a person. "I used to be short-tempered, but now instead I listen to everyone's point of view and treat others the way I want to be treated. I learned that at soccer,” she says. Not only has Natasha's attitude improved, but she has become a leader on the field. Check out our blog post to read more about Natasha and be inspired by her story!

We Support the 2016 National Mentoring Summit
The U.S. Soccer Foundation is a proud Supporting Partner of MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership’s 2016 National Mentoring Summit, exploring the theme of Connection | Growth | Opportunity. The event offers 65 workshops and compelling plenary sessions, bringing together practitioners, researchers, corporate partners, government and civic leaders, national youth-serving organizations and MENTOR’s network of affiliate Mentoring Partnerships to explore and advance mentoring’s positive impact. We encourage you to learn more about the event and additional engagement opportunities that are part of the Summit, such as the Capitol Hill advocacy day and Corporate Track for private sector supporters. We look forward to an informative and inspiring Summit this year!
