As much as I love summer, nothing can compare to fall. With cool weather, crunchy leaves, and the return of soccer season, what’s not to love? At the Foundation, fall also means that it’s grants season, and there’s nothing we enjoy more than helping others grow the game in their own communities!
Every year, the Foundation awards grants to support soccer programs and field-building initiatives in communities across the country. Grants are provided to support all aspects of the beautiful game – from assisting programs with operational costs to creating or enhancing safe places to play! Applications for the fall grants cycle are now available. For more information about Program grants and Safe Places to Play grants please read our Guide to Grants.
Applications for Program grants are due on October 1, 2014. To be considered for a Safe Places to Play grant, organizations must submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) no later than September 24, 2014. Organizations that submit an LOI and are approved by the Foundation will be invited to complete aSafe Places to Play application, which is due no later than October 1, 2014.
