Washington, DC – In honor of the U.S. Men’s National Team playing Portugal in the group stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, the major charitable arm of soccer in the United States, will host a World Cup watch party at Town Tavern on June 22, 2014 in Washington, D.C.

Admission is free, but a suggested $5.00 donation may be made to support the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s Soccer for Success program. Soccer for Success is a free afterschool program that uses soccer as a tool to address children’s health issues and juvenile delinquency, while promoting healthy lifestyles in urban underserved communities.
